• In the two months ending June 2010, 974 thousands Americans disappeared from the Civilian Labor Force

• Individuals considered to be employed fell by 336 thousand

• The number of people Not in the Labor Force increased by 1.34 million

The "economic recovery" appears to have shifted into high gear.  The Unemployment Rate fell from 9.86% to 9.51% due to the shrinking labor force.

Obama's Stimulus Spending plan may be working after all.  The secret is to erode private sector hiring activity to the point where the unemployed quit looking for work altogether.  If the President can encourage a few million more dejected Americans to capitulate, we may get to enjoy an Unemployment Rate below 9% sometime in 2011.
