Excerpts from "The National Homeownership Strategy" Codified in 1995: Statement of Purpose

The Housing Bubble, originally a Homeownership Bubble, was an intentionally manufactured Government distortion created during the mid-1990s.  A self-described "action document" was prepared in 1995 titled "The National Homeownership Strategy" which clearly articulated the altruistic intent of this massive undertaking, and the coordinated tools and strategies which would be implemented to achieve the public policy goal.

Included below are excerpts from "The National Homeownership Strategy".  They include a Prelude by Bill Clinton, a Foreward by Henry Cisneros and a Statement of Purpose from the original document.  Each is enlightening and fundamentally important to understanding the origin of the Housing Bubble.
