Great Depression Era Tennessee Valley Authority propaganda.  The TVA was created by the federal government in 1933 and was one of many public works projects designed to elevate the US out of The Depression. 





It is not hard to imagine similar initiatives being undertaken in a misguided attempt to spend our way out of the Affordable Mortgage Depression.  Massive government expenditures funneled into federally mandated projects, defined by politically motivated social agendas.
